Jeremiyah Love enters the 2026 NFL Draft as one of the most explosive running backs in the class. Fresh off running a 4.36s 40-yard dash at the combine, he continues to spark discussions about his speed. A former five-star recruit, Love developed into a dynamic playmaker at Notre Dame, combining elite acceleration with home-run speed. Evaluations consistently highlight his burst through the hole and ability to create chunk plays, making him a true big-play threat every time he touches the ball. He has shown growth as a receiver out of the backfield and has the versatility that modern NFL offenses covet.
A QB's best friend is a great RB, and Cam Ward is in need of one. While many teams, like the Chiefs, used free agency to firm up their running back situations, the Titans did not. The Titans have the 4th pick and enter 2026 with Tony Pollard (29) and Tyjae Spears (25). Love would have the opportunity to take over the backfield and be lead back, but it does seem crowded and certain to end in some kind of sharing situation.
If the Titans pass on Love, next up is the Giants in spot 5. John Harbaugh has made it known that they are interested in Love. Harbaugh's team vision is to run the ball. With Cam Skattebo coming off a season-ending ankle dislocation injury, it may be a long road back, leaving the team to depend on Tyrone Tracy(27).
Both of these situations give Love the opportunity to be a primary back, but the Giants and Harbaugh feel like a better fit from a fantasy perspective. The sharing situation still feels probable.
