Week 12 is here! With just three weeks left in the regular fantasy season, playoff spots are on the line. Hopefully, you’re still in the hunt! However, this week presents some challenges, as six teams are on a bye: the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, and New York Jets. Plan accordingly as you set your lineups and work the waiver wire!
Week 11 Injury Report
Ladd McConkey (LAC WR) – Shoulder Injury
McConkey hurt his shoulder during the Sunday night game. While he returned for the final drive (logging two catches for 55 yards), an AC joint sprain could sideline him for 2-3 weeks.
Darnell Mooney (ATL WR) – Hamstring
Mooney exited Sunday’s game against Denver with a hamstring issue. He has been battling an Achilles injury, and hamstring injuries often linger for 3+ weeks. With Atlanta on a bye, monitor his status for Week 13.
Puka Nacua (LAR WR) – Possible Concussion
Nacua visited the blue tent for a potential concussion but returned to action. Be cautious, as concussion symptoms may worsen in the days following the game.
Gabe Davis (JAX WR) – Meniscus Tear
Unfortunately, Davis is out for the season due to a meniscus tear. The Jaguars are now struggling with depth at wide receiver.
Raheem Mostert (MIA RB) – Hip
Mostert left Sunday’s game with a hip injury but later returned. His practice participation this week will determine his availability for Week 12.
George Kittle (SF TE) – Hamstring
Kittle was surprisingly inactive in Week 11 due to an ongoing hamstring issue. These injuries are slow to heal and may persist through the season.
Waiver Wire Pickups
Wide Receivers (WR)
Quentin Johnston (LAC) – 63% available
- Matchups: BAL, @ATL, @KC
- With McConkey sidelined, Johnston is poised to see more targets. Baltimore allows the most fantasy points to WRs, and Justin Herbert looks comfortable airing it out.
Elijah Moore (CLE) – Widely available and seeing an increase in opportunities in Cleveland’s offense.
Running Backs (RB)
Ameer Abdullah (LV) – 99% available
- Matchups: DEN, @KC, @TB
- Injuries to Alexander Mattison and Zamir White make Abdullah the next man up. A strong pass-catcher, Abdullah could be a valuable bye-week fill-in. However, the Broncos’ matchup isn’t favorable.
Jaylen Wright (MIA) – 94% available
- Matchups: NE, @GB, NYJ
- With Mostert nursing a hip injury, Wright could step into an expanded role. New England’s defense struggles against the run, making Wright a solid pickup.
Tight Ends (TE)
Hunter Henry (NE) – 55% available
- Matchups: @MIA, IND, BYE
- Henry is getting a nearly 20% target share and benefits from Drake Maye’s high passing volume. He saw nine targets in Week 11, catching six for 40 yards.
Will Dissly (LAC) – 77% available
- Matchups: BAL, @ATL, @KC
- Dissly posted 80 yards and a TD in Week 11. With McConkey out, he should see an increased workload, especially against Baltimore’s porous pass defense.
Quarterbacks (QB)
Bo Nix (DEN) – 52% available
- Matchups: @LV, CLE, BYE
- Nix scored 30 fantasy points in Week 11 and has been consistently productive. He faces a weak Raiders defense next.
Drake Maye (NE) – 86% available
- Matchups: @MIA, IND, BYE
- While Miami poses a challenge, Maye’s rushing ability (41 yards/game) makes him a viable option. Week 13’s matchup against the Colts could be a better opportunity.
Defenses (DST)
Buccaneers – 89% available
- Matchups: @NYG, @CAR, LV
- The Bucs have three straight favorable matchups, starting with the Giants, who are now led by Danny DeVito and Drew Lock.
Commanders – 80% available
- Matchups: DAL, TEN, BYE
- The Commanders’ defense continues to improve. With upcoming matchups against Dallas and Tennessee, they could rack up sacks and turnovers.
